Dear RC 19 members,

 

The Call for Papers for the 28th IPSA World Congress of Political Science, to be held in Seoul, South Korea from 12-16 July 2025, is now open! The #IPSA2025  World Congress will have a diverse program under the theme Autocratization in Polarized Societies. Paper and closed panel proposals on any political science-related subject are welcome.

 

Paper Submissions 

Anyone can submit a proposal. An IPSA online account (free) is required to submit a proposal. While IPSA membership is not required for submission, it is mandatory for participation and registration for the IPSA World Congress. RC 19 Submissions:

Please consider submitting a paper or closed panel proposal related to Gender Politics and Policy. You can also submit a paper to one of our open panels available. We will share more details on each open panel in the coming weeks. Below is a list of open panel titles:

  • Doing ‘Politics’, Becoming Political: Women and Contemporary Indian Politics

  • Gender and Democracy: The Political Value, Participation, and Representation of Women

  • Gender Dynamics in Polarized Societies

  • Gender Politics in the Global South

  • Women as Leaders — From the Local to National Level
